Janesville Haunted History Tour
Have you ever wondered why Janesville, Wisconsin has been described as one of the MOST haunted cities in the United States? Well then let us SHOW you why!
The Southern Wisconsin Paranormal Research Group has been investigating the history and hauntings of the Janesville area for many years. They have even done paranormal investigations at some of the MOST haunted locations Janesville has to offer. Let them take you on walking tour of the Courhouse Hill and downtown districts of Janesville and learn of it's colorful haunted history!
The tour will begin at Janesville's MOST HAUNTED location...
THE JANESVILLE MANSION
You will get a top to bottom tour of the mansion and hear the stories of the history and paranormal activity that still takes place in the many rooms that encompass this dwelling!
The SWPRG has been actively researching and investigating this location for MANY years and have personally witnessed the ghostly activity that still takes place inside.
The 3-hour tour will then take you through the Courthouse Hill and Downtown
Districts and show you where:
- The man who committed the first murder in Rock County's history was lynched!
- The massive Janesville fires took place
- Locations investigated by the SWPRG
- The place where the first settlers burried their dead
And MUCH...MUCH...MORE!
We will be stopping along the tour at a local establishment for an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice which is included in the price of your ticket. Additional beverages or food will be at your expense.
The tour will come full-circle and end back up at the haunted Janesville Mansion.

- Tours will be given rain or shine so come prepared for the weather.
- You will be required to sign a waiver when arriving at the Mansion.
- The address of the Mansion will be provided to you in an email confirmation after your online registration has been completed .
- A $5.00 per person administrative fee will be retained on all cancelled reservations.
